I am finally happy to make this report about our fundraiser for the drone! 📝 We managed to raise the required amount and even a little more. Thank you all very much! The drone was purchased and delivered to the guys very quickly. It's just incredible! 🎉
And here are some details.
🛰️ First of all, I must say, that I’ve bought a better drone than the one I’ve initially planned 🙃 I was originally thinking of getting the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced in Spain. But when it came to buying the store asked me to fill out a bunch of papers that they would consider and then give permission (or not) to make a purchase. I didn’t want that delay to happen. So I turned to searches and found a store in Italy. My Barcelona friend helped me to negotiate and get the details. It turns out that the store recently brought a batch of Autel Evo 2 Dual drones, a rugged bundle ones, with an additional batteries, and at a great price. And most importantly - drones were available!
📦 Delivery was made to Poland. It took a week for drone to arrive and then 2 days to appear in Kyiv! Many thanks to my friends that kept all my purchases at their home and passed them on to my other friends that delivered all to Ukraine with the speed of light! 🚚 🥳.
Let me summarize these cosmic speeds of fundraising and purchases 🤯. In almost 10 days from the moment when the guys contacted me, we managed to collect the necessary amount and buy walkie-talkies, batteries, shoes, headphones, gloves. In another 2 weeks we managed to raise the necessary amount and buy a drone. And then it took 9 days to get everything in Kyiv and pass it on to the guys! And again, I would like to thank everyone who has joined this important cause. You are incredible! 🤗
📊 A few numbers.
Since the last report, a total of € 7643 has been raised in various currencies.
These money were spent on the following:
A drone Autel Evo 2 Dual for € 7250 plus delivery for € 100. Total: € 7350.
One bulletproof vest for UAH 11,000 for a soldier who is now near Chernobyl building defense there, so that not a single bastard gets through!
The guys we gave everything to have not taken the photos yet for the reasons, which I can't talk about here. But they will definitely do, and not only photos, but also videos 😉
